Ok, don't expect me to do a deal right away even if I am intrigued.
That being said, lets get into it.
No one is unavailable.
I don't see me making any noise in the playoffs with this core. But I do believe I have some options with this team.
If I decide to go the road of trying to win in the next few years, then I'll be interested in trading depth and picks for solid players. I value defense like many others. If i decide to go this road it will likely be with "fundamentally sound" basketball. Meaning, good D, low TO's, high %'s.
If I decide to go on the rebuilding road, it will likely be a three year plan. I'd want 08 picks, and 3 year contracts for my longer contracts. (Miller, Cardinal, Swift, Gasol) I'm also a sucker for young players, again, like many others.
Before talking to other GM's, I'm leaning towards the rebuilding plan. That can change if I feel appropiate due to the feedback. But regardless of what road I take, I'm looking to dump Miller and Cardinal.

Well I like Gasol ;D I also might be willing to take on Miller if I get some compensation (i.e. a 1st). I do like Emeka... just not sure how much you like him. Also, forgot to be specific, thanx for bringing it up... IF I'M DUMPING MILLER OR CARDINAL, COMPENSATION WON'T CONSIST OF PICKS. ITS MUCH MORE LIKELY THE COMPENSATION WILL BE PLAYERS. |

Alright then, forget about the pick. I'll take Miller if you throw in Gasol  Seriously though, I value Okafor and Gasol fairly equally. Part of me prefers Gasol (being European and all), but Okafor is probably more "my type of player" (i.e. a potential defensive force). Something to consider though. |

I like Gasol as well.
I'm willing to take some of the longer contracts, and I have a whole wackload of young guys, as well as my own pick in all of the upcoming years.

A2J-You have a nice young team. I like Taft, Biendris, Smith, and to a lesser extent, Snyder and Luke. Also like Najera.
Dula-I have some interest in Prince, but I'm not sure what we could do.
